Audubon Magpie Jays 500 pieces jigsaw

 The image on this 500-piece jigsaw is a collage created by Lady Hertford, who owned Temple Newsam House in Leeds. Lady Hertford cut the images from Audubon's book The Birds of America and applied them to the hand-painted Chinese wallpaper in her drawing room. The two birds on the left are Audubon's depictions of Columbia Jays, now known as Black-throated Magpie Jays. Finished jigsaw measures 490x360mm. Includes an A4 poster for reference.
